Description:
The Brookgold Plum is a Japanese plum that was released by the Brooks Horticultural centre in 1980. The high quality thin skinned yellow freestone fruit grows to about 3 cm in size, is very sweet to the taste and ripens at the end of August. The Brookgold plum likes well drained sandy loams in a full sun sheltered location. It also requires a pollinator of a Nanking cherry or an apricot. |
