Description:
Astilbe are one of the few full flowering shade plants. Astilbe grow best in areas that receive only the morning sun or a couple of hours of sun in the afternoon. They are ideal for planting in woodland garden in small groups or massed as a ground cover. Astilbe must be watered regularly as they will not tolerate dry soil. Plants must be divided every 3-4 years to maintain vigour. |
