Description:
Blizzard Mockorange is covered in stunning clusters of fragrant white flowers with yellow eyes at the ends of the branches in late spring. The plant is called the mockorange because the flowers smell similar to orange blossoms. The non-descript green foliage last throughout the summer but the serrated oval leaves do not develop any exiting fall colour. Neither the fruit or the peeling brick red bark is ornamentally significant. Makes a great border or informal hedge The Blizzard mockorange is the hardiest of the mockoranges and was developed at the Morden Research Centre. |
