Description:
The Westcot apricot was developed by the Morden Ag Canada Research station in 1982 from the M-604 and has been gracing prairie yards with apricots ever since. This cultivar has hardy flower buds and is a more consistent setting fruit. The apricots themselves are 3.5- 4.5cm in length, golden yellow in colour, are freestone and excellent for eating right off the tree or combined in jams jellies, pies or preserves.
