Premium cattle manure |
---|
Ideal for energizing your lawn garden or flower beds. Cattle maure just about double amounts of nutrients as horse manure. Comes in the raw or composted form |
Description:
Cattle manure is an excellent source of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as well as all the micro nutrients. It is the choice fertilizer for organic gardens because it adds nutrients and organic matter naturally. Incorporating manure into the soil increases pore space thus allowing greater water retention, and increased root penetration. Raw cattle manure is usually too "hot" to be applied directly on the lawn or vegetable garden. The standard procedure is to apply the raw manure to an area of the garden that is to remain fallow for the summer and then incorporate it into the soil with a roto tiller throughout the summer. Composted manure will have less weed seeds and can be applied at any time during the growing season up to four weeks prior to harvest. |
