Description:
Cherry plums first came available on the prairies in the early 1900's by crossing a Sand cherry with a Japanese Plum and then later crossing with other cherry plums. This upright form is well adapted for the prairie climate. Its fruit is 3cm in diameter and is dark red in colour and is rated as one of the best for dessert but only fair for canning
