Description:

A newer introduction with large fruit, red and yellow apple of excellent quality and an excellent keeper. A vigorous grower ripening in mid to late September. Spectacular pink blossoms that add spring beauty to any landscape.

Like all high latitude hardy apple trees, the Fall Red Apple grows to about 20 feet tall, has pink non fragrant blossoms that appear just as the leaves are breaking bud. Dark green leaves turn orange in the fall.

The Fall Red is a mid season apple that requires a cross pollinator to produce fruit. Since it is a mid season tree, it can cross with a different variety of early, mid or late season apples.
